Project Completion Support Advisory | Financely
Resolve lender questions on completion risk. Financely structures the commercial support plan around cost overruns, delays and sponsor obligations.
Define a completion support package lenders can assess
The lender likes the asset but wants clearer protection against delays and cost overruns. Financely helps quantify the exposure and organize the proposed response across the sponsor, contractor and capital structure.
For construction-stage projects with a costed delivery plan and a specific lender request for additional completion support.
What you receive
Quantify the completion exposure
Review contingency, interest during construction, delay assumptions and contractor protections. Identify the funding gap if completion takes longer or costs more than planned.
Build the support proposal
Compare sponsor commitments, funded reserves, contingent equity and available contract protections. Prepare a responsibilities matrix and commercial proposal for lender discussion.
The support plan sits within our project finance advisory mandate. Where external support is relevant, we separately assess third-party collateral options and their cost.
What to send us
EPC terms, construction budget, contingency schedule, model, sponsor financials, project insurance information and the lender’s support requirements.
Can a guarantee replace all sponsor completion obligations?
Not automatically. The lender must accept the provider, scope, amount, expiry and claim conditions. We assess the remaining exposure and the cost of any proposed external support.
Request a scoped proposal
Share the construction stage, lender’s outstanding requirements and the support your sponsor can provide. We will define the structuring work needed.
Your proposal sets out the deliverables, fees and next steps. Work starts after the engagement is signed and the retainer is paid.
