LC Structuring & Capacity Advisory | Financely
Resolve LC wording, supplier credit, cash margin and facility capacity issues. Financely prepares the commercial structure and bank discussion package.
Align your LC structure with the supplier, buyer and bank
An LC transaction can stall because the documents do not match the trade, the supplier needs a separate credit, or the bank’s margin requirement absorbs available cash. Financely addresses these connected issues before you commit to an unworkable structure.
For companies with a defined purchase or resale transaction and identifiable bank requirements. Suitable for new LC requests and recurring imports using an existing trade facility.
Resolve the constraint on your transaction
Check the draft credit against the contract, shipment schedule and documents the parties can produce. Receive an issue list and proposed commercial amendments for bank discussion.
Compare the buyer and supplier legs, including amounts, dates and presentation requirements. Define the reimbursement route and the residual exposure the issuing bank must assess.
Quantify blocked collateral alongside freight, duties and operating cash needs. Assess the available support options and prepare a documented proposal for the bank.
Reconcile outstanding instruments, loans, sublimits and maturities. Identify capacity restrictions and model changes to tenor, allocation or shipment timing.
What your mandate delivers
Your deliverables may include a revised transaction structure, draft wording issue schedule, margin analysis and facility utilization model. The objective is a clear commercial request that the bank and counterparties can review together.
What to send us
Provide the draft or issued LC, trade contracts, shipment plan, specimen documents, facility terms and cash margin indication. Include current utilization if the existing line is constrained.
Before you engage us
Can this remove the need for bank collateral?
Not automatically. We assess the proposed support and cash requirements; the bank decides the security, margin and credit limits it will accept.
Does the review guarantee issuance or payment under an LC?
No. Issuance requires the bank’s approval. Payment depends on the issued instrument and the presentation examined by the relevant bank. Our role is commercial preparation and coordination.
Start with a scoped proposal
Send the bank’s requirements and the supplier or buyer terms creating the difficulty. We will propose the work needed to resolve the commercial structure.
Work begins after the engagement is signed and the retainer is paid. The proposal confirms the services included, required inputs and agreed deliverables.
